2012 Reunion Details:
East Rome High School Class of 1967 will hold a reunion in April 2012 in Rome with members of the classes of 1963 through 1969 invited to attend.
Friday April 27th, 2012 we will meet at the Rome Braves game at the stadium in Rome. Tommy Shiflett is working on the details but we plan on meeting on the Terrace. The cost will be $29 per person which included admission to the game, a buffet meal and a game souvenir.
Saturday April 28th, 2012 the reunion will be held at the Palladium in Rome. The band will be Major Ridge (http://majorridge.com/) a local Rome band.There will be 4 food stations: Mexican Station will have ground beef, pica de Gallo, refried beans, Spanish rice, cheese, sour cream and soft taco shells; Pasta Salad Station will have fresh Caesar salad, cold pasta salad, hot penne pasta, marinara sauce, Alfredo sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, grilled chix strips and crackers; Potato Station will have smashed potatoes, chives, cheddar cheese, sour cream, grilled onions and bacon bits; and Desert Station will have brownies, cookies, chocolate mousse, fresh whipped cream, chocolate syrup, peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. Water, soft drinks and mixers will be provided. For alcoholic beverages it is BYOB. Cost for the evening will be $30 per person.
The next planning meeting will be held in Rome Saturday afternoon March 10th at 2:00 at the Rome/Floyd County Law Enforcement building on 5th Avenue at the river. We need help from all classes of 1963 through 1969 and the meetings are mini-reunions.
